 An event planner can create an idea, even if the client is unsure of what they want.  Maybe they know that they would want a disco theme but has no idea how to create the perfect venue and decor.  Or maybe someone knows they would like an event but doesn't have any ideas.

I spend time with clients getting to know them and finding out what they would like for their event.  I will offer suggestions, ideas, and plan every specific last detail of your event.  This would include nailing down the date, time, venue, budget, entertainment (DJ and vendors), food, and last but not least party favors as well as any other details of the event. 

An event planner needs to know which venues are available to offer suggestions that match what the client wants.  At times the right location may require some research and site seeing to find something new.  There may be some clients that want an unusual event location that the planner has never used.

Events involve a number of vendors, which means there are different contracts for each one.  Common vendors include venue, caterer, music, entertainment, and speakers.  If the client needs to rent tables, chairs, and/or tents that also involves a contract. I can help with different vendors and what best suites your needs. Understanding all terms in the agreements and making sure all vendors follow through takes time.  I will handle all this as I would like to make your life a lot easier.

My job would not stop when the day of the event arrives. The event planner is responsible for making sure everything happens at planned from all vendors arriving on time to guests understanding where they go.  If problems pop up, I will come up with a solution as everything will be mapped out and planned ahead of time. I will make sure all vendors have the time and space setup as needed.

Although the last guest has left and the venue is clean, the event planner's job is not over.  There may be follow-up activities for clients.  For example, making sure all vendors get paid on time and return rented items.  Events and party planning services take the stress load off of the client, so that the event turns out to be a dream come true.
